Classical fans can enjoy a musical foray into the genius of Fauré at an East Hampshire church this weekend.

The Rogate Choral Society will celebrate 100 years of Gabriel Fauré with a concert in St Mary’s Liss this Saturday, May 18.

The RSC summer concert of French and English choral music, chansons and songs will begin at 7.30pm and will feature Lisa McNaught (soprano), Nick Dekker (baritone) and Timothy Ravalde (organ).

Tickets are £15 to include a glass of wine, and are available on the door or in advance from One Tree Books or any choir member.
