STAFF at a Horndean care home have raised a glass to their neighbours for putting up with construction work.
Bosses at Bere Grove treated their nearby residents to a cheese and wine evening last Friday.
Barchester staff wanted to thank their immediate neighbours for their patience while the home was being constructed off Rowlands Castle Road.
The event included a talk by Tim Cowan, chairman of the Rowlands Castle History Society, about the area and how its history affected some of the building’s details.
Residents were also given a tour of the marketing suites and took part in the voting process for the home’s four different communities, with the winning names soon to be confirmed.
