AN AMERICAN family with fond memories of Petersfield are trying to trace pupils who were at Sheet Primary School with their son.
Early in 2003, Paul Retzbach and his family moved to Monks Orchard in Petersfield, and in September that year his son Matthew, then aged four, started at school in Robin class.
Paul, who moved to the UK with ADT Fire and Security to become a branch manager in Portsmouth, said: “In 2003 we moved to the UK, settling into Petersfield, and at the end of 2005, we moved back to the United States.
“We have very fond memories of Petersfield and do our best to stay in touch with some of our old neighbours.
“We have a picture of the Robin reception class taken by the Petersfield Post, and I thought it would be interesting to hear about what the other children in the photograph are doing, it would be kind of cool for Matthew to see where they are now.”
Matthew, now aged 18, is leaving Glenelg High School in Howard County, Maryland in July, and is joining the University of Maryland in College Park in September.
