THE COLLECTIONS team at Haslemere Educational Museum will be hosting tea and a talk on March 22 at 2.30pm.

As part of its Troy – Beauty & Heroism series of events, the team will tell people about the items on loan from the British Museum and the accompanying items from Haslemere’s collection. Admission is free for members and £3 for non-members, which includes refreshments.

At In the Shadow of War on March 5, Museum Explorers aged five to 11 will make shadow puppets based on important Trojan War figures.

Under-fives in the Early Years group can enjoy the story Bear Shadow and make a shadow puppet on February 25 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

In the Toys From The Past story time and activity, on March 11 from 10.30am to 11.30am, they can find out how their toys differ from those of long ago.

And in Spring Celebrations, on March 25 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, they can make Easter cards.

Early Years places must be booked. Admission costs £1 for adults and £2 for children.
