DEMENTIA Friendly Petersfield (DFP) is hoping to announce a new initiative at the Taro Leisure Centre at Penns Place, now run by Everyone Active, to make exercise more accessible to people living with the condition, after staff at the centre were trained to help those with dementia.

DFP spokesman Jeff Williams has also praised the Pam Robinson Music Group for people with dementia, their carers, and family members. He said: “It has just celebrated its first birthday, and is appreciated very much by those who go.”
