RESIDENTS of Cedar Rehabilitation Ward at Petersfield Hospital enjoyed a sing-a-long with ukulele band ‘Wacky Wednesdays’ last Thursday.

The elderly and infirm patients, who are recovering after suffering strokes or other age-related conditions, were joined by ward staff to enjoy tunes from yesteryear.

The 15 strong ukulele ensemble, whose members hail from Petersfield and the Horndean area, play for free and “purely for the love of it.”
