Due to adverse weather forecasts, the scheduled closure of the northbound carriageway between the Liss Interchange and Ham Barn Roundabout this weekend has been reduced by two days.
The closure will still start from 9pm today (Friday, February 21), but the carriageway will now reopen at 6am tomorrow on Saturday, February 22.
The forecast strong winds and rain would have risked affecting the quality of the planned road resurfacing.
National Highways are currently ahead of schedule, so this shouldn’t have any impact on the overall timescale of the project.
A full weekend closure of the southbound carriageway is due to run next weekend from 9pm Friday, February 28 until 6am Monday, March 3.
Overnight closures from 9pm and 6am between Longmoor Interchange and Liss Interchange are scheduled until Saturday, March 15.
