A family home on the border of Hampshire and Surrey has been seriously damaged by fire.
Fire crews from both counties spent much of Friday afternoon (November 15) battling a house fire off Churt Road, close to Churt.
The owners, who have shared pictures and video footage of the incident with the Herald, managed to safely raise the alarm and are currently being supported by friends and family.
The fire started around 4pm in a garage before spreading to the property and causing “considerable damage”.
Three fire engines and one water carrier were deployed with crews from Liphook, Rushmoor and Surrey using hose reels and jets to fight the blaze.
