A woman has been charged with four counts of shoplifting in Alton and Aldershot.

Charleen Ellacott, 35, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court today (Friday).

Police had received reports that items worth a total of more than £450 were stolen from shops in Alton and Aldershot between October 10 and October 18.
