Sixteen Farnham Runners enjoyed a trip to the Isle of Wight to take part in the undulating Ryde ten-mile race.
The race, organised by Ryde Harriers, was the seventh fixture in the 2024-25 Hampshire Road Race League season.
Tony Jones was the first to cross the line for Farnham in a personal best time of 1:07.39.
Ivan Chunnett in 1:10.08 and Nick Grist in 1:10.12 were next home for Farnham, with Charles Ashby the final team scorer in a time of 1:14.26. The men’s team came fifth in the top A division.

Chris Raby finished in 1:14.50, while Chris Gill recorded a time of 1:32.29.
Linda Tyler led the ladies’ A team home in a personal best time of 1:15.25, followed by Candy Waller in 1:19.48, Bridget Naylor in 1:23.40 and Gemma Whitehouse in a personal best 1:26.15.
Lindsay Bamford led the B team home in 1:26.20, followed by Kate Townsend in 1:27.46, Colette Grist in 1:32.29 and Kelly Lincoln in 1:40.29.
Penny Schnabel finished in 1:41.24 and Julia Tagg finished in 1:42.23.

The ladies’ A team came seventh out of ten teams in the A1 table – and are fifth after seven events – and the B team came third out of ten teams at Ryde and are sixth overall.
At the Farnham Sports Council awards Farnham Runners chairman Nicola O’Connor was a highly commended Volunteer of the Year.
The Little Dream Team One, a ladies’ team who won their category at Endure24, were a highly commended Team of the Year.
Smug Club, a group of Farnham Runners who run a four-mile loop early every Friday morning, were a highly commended Club of the Year.
