Badshot Lea manager Gavin Smith was delighted after his side returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win at Harrow Borough in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Saturday.

The Baggies took the lead in the 34th minute when Luis Le Paih’s through ball found Steven Sylla, who slotted home into the bottom corner.

Harrow equalised on 46 minutes through Kai Hamilton.

The Baggies regained the lead on 68 minutes when Cam Rohart-Brown’s free kick found Le Paih, who fed Sylla to score his second of the afternoon and seal the three points for the visitors.

“We had Kai Allsopp back from injury, Cam was back and Steven is now up and running,” said Smith.

“Those three players made a difference.

“Our two goals came from two good bits of football.

“We have to take each game as it comes – hopefully we can use this result as a springboard.”
