Farnham Town produced a dominant performance to win 3-0 at home to Sutton Common Rovers in the Isthmian League South Central Division.
First-half goals from Sam De St Croix, Adam Liddle and Kai Tanner gave the champions the three points in front of a crowd of 881 at The Memorial Ground.
The hosts dominated possession and territory early on but had to wait until the 22nd minute to take the lead.
Jack Dean slipped a pass through to De St Croix, and De St Croix’s effort from a tight angle went in off Sutton Common keeper Kacper Orlowski.
Town doubled their advantage three minutes later when Darryl Sanders slid a perfectly-weighted through ball to Liddle, who confidently buried his finish past Orlowski into the bottom left-hand corner.
The third goal arrived on 34 minutes when an excellent team move ended with Sanders laying the ball off to Tanner, who took a touch and then calmly finished into the bottom left-hand corner.
Farnham boss Paul Johnson made a triple change after the break, with Ben Purcell, Owen Dean and Great Evans replacing Mark Waters, De St Croix and Liddle in the 54th minute.
Johnson then made a double change on the hour mark, with Joe Jackson and Max Meaton replacing Harry Cooksley and Jordan Stepney.
Town nearly scored their fourth of the afternoon on 72 minutes when Evans’ powerful shot forced an excellent diving save from Orlowski, who tipped the ball over the bar.
The hosts went close again six minutes later when Jordan Gallagher picked out Owen Dean in the middle of the box, but he dragged his right-foot effort wide of the far left-hand post.
Farnham now have 93 points with five games remaining this season.
Next up for the champions is a trip to Hayes & Yeading United in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Saturday, April 5 (3pm kick-off).
