League leaders Farnham Town were held to a 0-0 draw at Horndean in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Saturday.
The point moved Farnham ten points clear of second-placed Kingstonian, who lost 5-1 at home to Westfield.
Town had chances to take all three points on a tricky pitch and struck the woodwork twice in the first half, with Jordan Stepney hitting the post and Jack Dean hitting the crossbar.
“The pitch was terrible,” said Farnham manager Paul Johnson.
“You couldn’t play much football on it.
“The two times we hit the woodwork were from set pieces.
“It looked like if there was going to be a goal it would come from a set piece.
“It was a good point for us with Kingstonian losing.”
