PUMA brand footballs are to be given to all new teams which enter the six-a-side winter season league in Horndean, in a sponsorship deal arranged by league organisers Soccersixes.
The league, which has just started, has four spaces still remaining. Matches are held every Monday at Horndean Technology College.
Soccersixes spokesman Matt Scoffham said: “We are extremely pleased to have secured a sponsorship deal to enable all our teams to have free footballs and also for us to use the best Puma match balls at the league.
“It means that when teams join they will get a free football to take home and do what they want with it.
“The league will provide each team with a free ball thanks to Puma who we are very thankful to for the deal.”
Eleven-a-side teams in the area who wish to enter a team as extra training team will also receive six free Puma match balls when they join the league.
There is no entry or registration fee to play in the new Soccersixes league. The league will be refereed by qualified officials, and balls, kits and bibs will be provided. Each team plays a 40-minute game each week.
There will now be two divisions of eight teams with a promotion and relegation system in operation.
Teams that win their division have the opportunity to take part in the Super Cup for prize money.
