Aldershot & Farnham (A&F) Hockey Club’s ladies’ first team secured their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory at Eastbourne Ladies in the South East Women’s Premier Division on Saturday.

A&F took the lead in the first minute. Fiona Stewart's precise pass found Tammy Cherry, whose determined baseline drive created chaos in the Eastbourne defence, resulting in a deflection into their own goal.

The visitors doubled their lead from a short corner, with Phoebe Bryant’s slap across goal deflected in by Cherry.

Eastbourne pulled a goal back with ten minutes left, but A&F held on for the win.

Haslemere’s men’s first team drew 2-2 at home to Trojans in South Central Men’s Premier Division One on Saturday.

Elliot Hall’s late drag flick into the bottom corner earned Haslemere a point.

Haslemere’s women’s first team drew 0-0 at Sonning in South Central Women’s Premier Division Two on Saturday.

Haslemere had more chances in the first half, but Sonning edged the second half.

Petersfield’s women’s first team drew 2-2 at Swanage & Wareham’s first team in South Central Women’s Division Two South on Saturday.

Petersfield fell behind early on but Alex Thomas’ reverse-stick volley got the visitors back on level terms.

Petersfield went ahead when Lydia Badge struck the ball confidently past the home keeper, but the hosts equalised to earn a point.

Petersfield’s women’s second team lost 4-2 at United Services Portsmouth in South Central Women’s Division One Solent on Saturday.

Petersfield men’s third team won 7-0 at home Fareham’s seventh team.
