A girls football team will be looking sharp on the touchline and in front of goal thanks to a Petersfield opticians.
Petersfield Town Girls U18 will be warm and dry during the winter as Specsavers have provided the team with sponsored training jackets.
The firm delivered the jackets to the team’s Love Lane ground before the girls made a return leg to The Square to thank retail director Jo Cox, ophthalmic director Shilpan Shah, and the rest of the team.
Jo said: “Petersfield Town FC are a massive part of the local community here, and do so much to help local people of all ages stay healthy and stay connected.”
John Lowe, U18 girls manager and overall head of female football at PTFC said: “We now have over 160 female players at the club and it’s fantastic that Specsavers have now added their support to the growth of girls football in the town.”
