A young farmer’s annual charity event was a huge success and raised nearly £1,800 for children.
Henry Bridger held his 4th charity tractor run for BBC Children in Need on Sunday, November 17 and raised £1,720. Around 20 tractors took to the roads, driving through Petersfield, Liss, Liphook and Milland.
Growing up, Henry would watch BBC Children in Need on TV and think to himself, ‘I could do that!’ He held his first tractor run when he was 15 years-old and was nominated as one of the final three for Terry Wogan’s Young Fundraiser of the year in 2023.
Henry’s mother, Alexandra, said: “We were thrilled to see so many people turn out to see them and hope they enjoyed the air horn renditions of Baby Shark and the Wheels on The Bus!” Huge thanks to everyone who supported him and to mayor Leslie Farrow for seeing the tractors off.”
