The Rosemary Foundation Christmas Market took place on Sunday, November 24 at Churcher’s College and was its most successful one ever, according to the charity.

Mayor Cllr Lesley Farrow, who selected the foundation as one of her chosen charities, officially opened the market and the hall quickly filled with people eager to see what was on offer.

Father Christmas was in attendance, taking time out of his busiest time of year, children had their faces painted and there were a wide variety of stalls to for Christmas shopping and food and refreshments.

The Foundation said: “We are so grateful to everyone who came along and supported us, as well as the many volunteers and staff who worked so hard to make the event such a success. We are delighted with the day and we're still working on the final amount raised as monies are still coming in.”
