A man accused of a string of domestic abuse offences in Petersfield and Gosport has pleaded not guilty to a dozen charges.
Callum Hornby, 23, of Hanbidge Walk, Gosport, denied all 12 counts that include assault, stalking and criminal damage, when he appeared before a judge at Portsmouth Crown Court on November 4.
The Petersfield offences include an assault by beating and an attempt to cause GBH with intent at two separate addresses in the town.Other charges include intentional suffocation, strangulation and assault occasioning ABH and an assault in The Square.
He is also charged with stalking involving serious alarm or distress between September 25 and September 29.
During the plea and case management hearing, Mr Hornby’s defence lawyer described him as a “young man of previous good character”. He was remanded in custody with an estimated five-day trial expected to begin on March 25 next year in the same court.
