Hampshire County Council is intending to install a new parallel crossing on a busy road in Petersfield.

It will be placed on B2070 The Causeway near the Dragon Street intersection with Hylton Road and the B2146 Sussex Road.

People responded positively to the news, with one person stating that it will make a difference to parents and children trying to cross the road during peak school times.

But people still have the chance to have their say by sending their opinions quoting the reference PAR44 by Friday, April 18.
