The Petersfield Community Choir hopes to spread joy through music this festive season.

The group is putting on a free Sounds of Winter concert at St Peter’s Church on Wednesday, December 4 starting at 7.30pm.

Under the leadership of musical director, Ysanne Bonner, the choir will sing unaccompanied and perform a four-part harmony.

Four young local musicians will star as the guest act and there will be a retiring collection in aid of FitzRoy. The charity supports people with learning disabilities and autism to live a fulfilled life as part of their local community.

The choir meets every Wednesday evening during term-time from 7.30pm to 9pm. It is an open access choir and the aim is for members to enjoy singing together in harmony.

There is no audition and no need to read music. If you are interested in joining, email [email protected]
