Haslemere’s men’s first team won 3-0 at Henley in South Central Men’s Premier Division One on Saturday.

Henley disrupted Haslemere’s flow effectively in the first half, and the score remained 0-0 at half-time.

Haslemere were two goals up within five minutes of the second half.

Max opened the scoring with a thunderous drive past the Henley keeper’s left foot from a tight angle.

The second was a well-worked team goal with Max grabbing his second from a deflection from Andy Powell.

Haslemere didn’t allow Henley a sniff in the second half and continued to work hard.

The final goal came when Powell neatly dispatched a short corner.

Haslemere’s men won a thrilling encounter 4-3 at home to Bournemouth.

The hosts went 2-0 up inside ten minutes.

Haslemere took the lead through Andy Powell’s goal, following good work down the right by Alec Morgan.

The second goal came from Max, who followed in a short corner to great effect.

The hosts took their foot off the gas, and some sloppy mistakes allowed Bournemouth to score two quick goals.

Haslemere produced a better performance in the second half.

The hosts retook the lead through Powell’s drag flick and looked to see out the win with five minutes to go.

Bournemouth then won a penalty stroke and successfully scored the flick to make it 3-3.

Haslemere regained the lead with two minutes to go when Marco’s reverse finish went through the Bournemouth keeper's legs.

Haslemere enter the Christmas break in third place in the league, and are just three points off first place.
