There’s no award for breakthrough player in the Farnham & District Billiards & Snooker League – but Liam Irwin would be in the running if there was.

He’s yet to drop a frame for Traco E in Division Three and made an impressive 38 break to secure a 3-1 win against Frensham D.

It was the top knock of the week – only top tier Simon Laney and Bob Toulouse got closest with 30 – and the league’s third highest of the season.

Fleet Broadway and Sovereign B lead the way after 4-0 wins against Bourne B and Grayshott B, respectively, while Alton Cons A remain top of Division Two thanks to some Chris Scheil heroics against Farnham Cons B.

Fellow undefeated sides Liss RBL C and Passfield played out a draw while there were big 4-0 wins for Lindford B and Traco F.

Division Three leaders Frensham A won 3-1 against Rowledge C while Dan Jaggers secured club bragging rights for Bordon A against their C counterparts.
