The Farnham & District Billiards & Snooker League champions are on top again thanks to some heroics from Stuart Miles and Mark Blissett after they rescued a draw for unbeaten Sovereign B against their C club-mates.
Rob Donohoe’s excellent 77-45 win against Tony Edwards and Bob Toulouse’s 66-15 triumph against Allan Gomez put the B team on the rocks before Miles and Blissett hit back with comfortable wins.
Liss RBL A ended Fleet’s unbeaten reign at the top with a 3-1 win courtesy of Neil Callingham’s final frame black ball victory against Simon Laney.
Bourne B also moved away from the relegation places with a 2-2 draw against Grayshott B.
Undefeated Liss RBL C are the new leaders in Division Two after a 4-0 whitewash of Sovereign D while Traco B inflicted a first loss of the season on Alton Cons A.
Passfield also lost their undefeated record in a 3-1 loss to Farnham Cons A with Martin Wells making his third 20-plus break of the season for the victors.
