A Farnham artist is running the ulti-mutt workshops for dog lovers during October Craft Month.
Alison Molan of Pup Goes The Easel, is giving you an opportunity to paint a work of art that is in her business’s style, but with your choice of colours and accessories to decorate your pup.
At the end of the day, you will have a canvas to take home with you which captures the essence of your own beloved pooch. The sessions will take place on October 12 and 19 from 10am to 4pm at Alison’s home in South Farnham. One will also take place on November 8 at the Sage and Salt Studio in Petersfield.
The pawesome workshops are suitable for adults of all abilities and beginners are welcome. Group sizes are kept small so you can achieve a whole painting in a day. The sessions are intended to be fun, relaxed and informative and is the pawfect excuse for some down time.
Alison will provide a canvas, paper, pencils, acrylic paints and brushes and you will need to bring an A4 sized photograph or print of your dog to copy (head and shoulders). In addition, you will need to bring an apron to protect your clothes, a light lunch and a water bottle.
Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be provided on arrival, and you should arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start time to meet the other attendees. Tickets are £85 each and can be purchased at: https://pupgoestheeasel.com/workshops/.
