Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A3, from 8pm November 21 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Sheet Link to Liss, Slip and link closures for structures maintenance.
And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A3, from 8pm November 25 to 6am November 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Chalton to QE2, Lane closure for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm November 25 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.
• A3, from 8.30pm November 28 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Ham Barn, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• A3, from 9pm December 2 to 6am December 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liphook, slip road and lane closure for barrier repairs.
• A3, from 8pm December 3 to 6am December 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, QE2 Country Park, Slip and lane closures for survey works.
• A3, from 8pm December 3 to 6am December 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Longmoor to Flexcombe, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm December 5 to 6am December 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Weston to Berelands, carriageway and lane closure for structures work.
• M3, from 9pm December 9 to 6am December 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 5, slip road closure for barrier repairs.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
