East Hampshire's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 8pm November 11 to 6am November 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 2 to Berelands, carriageway closure for roadmarkings renewal.

And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A3, from 8pm November 18 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.

A3(M), from 9pm November 20 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3(M) both directions, junction 2, exit and entry slip road closures for Scottish and Southern Electricity works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
