Get ready for a Wyld night of gratuitous sax as Hampshire’s first Jazz and Gin event is coming to a farm near Liss Forest.

This Saturday’s event at Wylds Farm is a collaboration between the hosts, East Meon gin specialists Dampneys Remarkable Drinks and a jazz band named after the village.

There should be a terrific atmosphere to drink in with music by a canon of greats including Mile Davis, Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder on the setlist.

The ‘East Meon’ band consists of keyboardist Marcus Hill, double bassist Andy Coe, conga player Nigel Hosking, drummer Paul Canton and saxophonist, leader and founder, Kati Whitaker.

The group was formed five years ago when Kati was asked to form a band to play at the East Meon village fair.

The event will begin at 5.30pm, for tickets and more details visit https://wyldsfarm.digitickets.co.uk/tickets
