Badshot Lea manager Gavin Smith was gutted after his side conceded a 90th-minute equaliser against Kingstonian.
The Baggies had to settle for a 2-2 draw after looking on course for a vital three points.
“It's another kick in the teeth for the lads,” said Smith.
“They've done exactly what was asked of them.
“In the first half we caused Kingstonian more problems in open play than they caused us.
“There were some really good performances.
“I felt we deservedly went in 2-1 up at half-time.
“We tried to do more of the same in the second half but knew there would be some sort of onslaught from Kingstonian and they would probably have a lot of possession.
“If we had come off with three points I don't think Kingstonian could have complained, so it’s really disappointing.
“It's a good point against a team that are up there looking to get promoted, but we needed three points.
“The lads stepped up to the plate and it would have been such a good feeling if we had got three points.
“I can't remember Kingstonian creating a lot in open play.
“They got in down the left a couple of times and put some great balls in, but they didn't really test Harry Cawdron.
“We were a threat and I thought Marcus Marko was excellent up front.
“He's a wide player but Finlay Evans was unavailable and we haven't got another centre-forward, so we told Marcus to go up front.
“He did really well, so that's a positive
“He was physical, held the ball up well and can run in behind.
“I was really pleased with his performance.
“There are loads of positives and the lads will grow from this, but they will be disappointed because they want to win games of football.”
