Two unlocked houses on a Petersfield road were burgled in broad daylight by thieves who stole cash, bank cards and jewellery.
A silver ladies Cartier watch worth £2,500 was stolen from a house on Hylton Road on Sunday (July 14) while its owner was at home.
A diamond and aquamarine ring was also taken along with bank cards and a purse containing £15 sometime between 4pm and 6pm.
A wallet containing bank cards and £40 was stolen from a nearby property with the burglars getting access to both via unlocked doors.
The first suspect is described as a thin and greying 5ft 10in white man in his 70s who was wearing a navy blue anorak and dark trousers.
His accomplice is a 5ft 7in white man aged 20 to 25 with a large build and light hair in light grey trousers, trainers and a gym workout top.
